Approach This New Year with Curiosity and Creativity
Hello and welcome to this new year!
It’s Monday, it’s January. It’s the 1st day of the year.
I ran the annual christmas eve Envision Your Future Into Being workshop yesterday, and as ever, it brings up the passion of creation and curiosity. It was my 22nd year of holding space for people to reflect on and set up what they want to be, do, have, create and generate. As ever, it was magical and expansive. We all set some mantras and intentions.
I’m excited at what 2024 will bring. I’m focused on ‘conscious abundance’. I’ve got some ideas about it; I have some intentions and I’m currently sat in the determination to create some real goodness in my world, inner and outer, and in the world, local and global.
That said, I’m also curious about what things I’m going to be experiencing that I’ve not even got on my radar. Because that’s what happens. All we can do is make some plans and hold them lightly, as a dear friend used to say.
The start of a year (and indeed the start of a week!) is an invitation to do exactly that. Whether you’ve got a plan are making one or never do, there’s an energy to the first day of the year that is special if you let it be. What will you do today to set yourself up for the year to come? What habit or thinking will you be embracing and maybe even practicing today that allows you to start the process of being in this year?
